Le Sol (“The Soil” in French) is Craggy Range’s flagship Syrah, hailing from the Gimblett Gravels, an area famous for its Rhône-style reds.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
The 2022 growing season produced low yields and highly concentrated fruit, ideal for Syrah. Warm days and cool nights built balance and intensity.

Winemaking Process
Whole bunch inclusion added complexity. Fermented with wild yeasts and matured in French oak barriques, highlighting savoury depth and spice.

Tasting Notes
Opaque purple with aromas of blackberry, black pepper, and violet. The palate is powerful yet refined, with dense fruit, fine tannins, and a peppery finish.
