Winery Background

Credaro Family Estate is a third-generation, family-owned winery rooted in Margaret River, with a legacy dating back to the northern Italian settlement in 1922. The “Five Tales” label showcases fruit-forward, vibrant wines crafted by winemaker Matt Credaro, offering excellent regional value and consistency.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

Sourced from vineyards across Margaret River, the 2024 vintage delivered ideal conditions for Pinot Grigio: warm, sunny days balanced by cool nights, aiding slow ripening and focused flavour development. The result is fruit that is fresh and well-balanced, typical of the cooler coastal region.

Winemaking

Fruit was gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel to retain purity. Minor lees contact enhances mouthfeel without detracting from freshness. The wine is bottled under screw cap to ensure aromatic preservation and a crisp finish.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Pale straw with subtle silver hues

• Aromas: Pure and refined, offering lemon citrus, nashi pear and a hint of tropical lychee. Ginger spice and orange blossom add layered complexity

• Palate: Bright acidity with classic Pinot Grigio texture. Flavours of lemon barley, pear and nectarine persist through the mid-palate, culminating in a clean, lingering finish.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with light seafood such as squid salad or grilled marron. Also works well with fresh salads, soft shell seafood or chilled as an aperitif.
