Credaro Family Estate is a family-owned vineyard in Margaret River, Western Australia, founded by the Credaro family, including Italian heritage spanning multiple generations. The "Five Tales" label reflects the estate’s ongoing story, capturing its focus on fruit-driven wines with regional expression and approachable style.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The Sauvignon Blanc fruit is sourced from five sites across Margaret River. The 2024 vintage delivered an ideal rhythm of warm sunshine and cool evenings, promoting ripeness and natural acidity. The grapes matured steadily, resulting in concentrated flavour and structural freshness typical of this coastal region.

Winemaking

Grapes were harvested at night and gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel to preserve aromatics. Lees contact added subtle texture; no malolactic fermentation occurred. The wine was sealed under screw cap to maintain purity and vibrancy.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Pale gold with a green hue.

• Aroma: Bright and fragrant, offering lemon, grapefruit, passionfruit, honeydew melon and jasmine blossom.

• Palate: Plush entry with tropical fruit, melon and citrus with generous mid-palate weight balanced by crisp acidity.

• Finish: Long, refreshing and flavoursome with a clean, powdery acid line and bright fruit persistence.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with grilled asparagus with sauce gribiche, fresh shellfish, spring vegetables, light fish dishes or herby poultry. A delightful aperitif chilled.
