WINERY INFORMATION

Cesare Credaro started his career by working in a five acre vineyard located near Commonage Road. He took some vine cuttings from the Meleri vineyard, and planted an acre of the Italian red grape variety – Fragola, at Carbunup. This began the Credaro family’s venture into the world of wines, who now own about 140 hectares of vineyard land. The winemaking team, headed by Chief Winemaker Trent Kelly, crafts these premium wines in their 1200 tonne winery located in Northern Margaret River. It was built in 2003. 

TASTING NOTES

Credaro Kinship Shiraz displays a deep purple red colour. It exudes intense aromas of dark berry fruits along with spice, leaf, earthy forest floor and floral notes from its perfumed nose. This enticing Shiraz is rich and luscious on the palate, filled with concentrated flavours of dark cherries, plums, violets and herbs coupled with underlying savoury and earthy nuances. These vibrant fruit characters fuse with fine and elegant tannins, to culminate in a long and persistent finale. This dazzling Shiraz has the potential to be cellared for 10 to 15 years, tasting marvellous with grass fed beef tenderloins with caramelized shallots.
