Launched by Francis Osborn in 1959, the d’Arenberg wine label offers an outstanding range of 60 distinctive wines, produced using 25 different grape varieties. The winemaking team led by fourth generation winemaker Chester Osborn ensures that wines pass through an extensive barrel tasting process before bottling the final blend. This wine was named after a series of olive trees that thrive in the estate’s Chardonnay vineyards.

TASTING NOTES

This deep yellow coloured Chardonnay displays bright lime hued flecks in a glass. A whiff of the wine offers attractive aromas of Granny Smith apple, nectarine, spice, vanilla and roasted nuts. A sip reveals intense creaminess accompanied by strong flavours of white flowers and stone fruits. These characters fuse with nutty as well as sea spray nuances, ending the wine in a dry and long finale marked by a touch of vanilla.
