Product Description

De Bortoli is a family owned wine company producing premium, cool climate wines. First generation winemaker, Vittorio De Bortoli bought a 55-acre fruit farm in 1928 and crushed nearly 15 tonnes of grapes for crafting his own wines. This led to the establishment of De Bortoli Wines. This award-winning wine brand is currently managed by third generation family members - Darren, Leanne and her husband, Steve Webber.

TASTING NOTES

DB Winemaker Selection Sauvignon Blancfeatures a pale straw colour with green tints. A whiff of the wine offers green apple and passionfruit aromas. The palate is fresh and crunchy, containing tropical fruit flavours supported by subtle acidity. The finale is round and smooth. Crafted to be relished fresh upon release, this wonderful Sauv Blanc can also be cellared for 2 to 3 years from vintage. It tastes amazing with grilled prawns, stuffed capsicum and vegetarian pastas.
