The company showed rapid expansion under the direction of their son, the late Deen De Bortoli. Serving the Australian wine industry for around a century, the De Bortoli family is one of the 12 members of Australia's First Families of Wine.

TASTING NOTES

Deep red and crimson coloured, De Bortoli Deen Vat 9 Cabernet Sauvignon has lovely fragrances of cassis, blackcurrants and plums along with chocolate and cedar oak undertones. The flavours on the palate include ripe plums, black fruits and liquorice, complemented by subtle tannins and oak. It will pair well with a rich pasta dish, slow cooked lamb or beef. It's a perfect wine to enjoy while you are all curled on your couch during winters!
