In its 90 years of winemaking history initiated by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli, the winery has gained huge success for its cool climate and premium wines. The winery is currently run by De Bortoli family fourth generation, under the guidance of Deen De Bortoli, and his wife Emeri.

TASTING NOTES

De Bortoli Sacred Hill Cabernet Merlot flaunts a vibrant purple colour with dark crimson shades. The fragrant bouquet of this wine boasts aromas of cassis and wild berries, with oak lingering in the background. The rich palate of this medium bodied red wine includes layers of plums, cherries, blackcurrants and strawberries, integrating with natural acidity and mouth-coating tannins. This easy drinking red blend goes well with beef, lamb, barbeques and hearty pasta dishes.
