Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

Sourced from the Dixon’s Creek vineyard in Yarra Valley, where cool temperatures and well-drained soils are ideal for Shiraz. The 2021 vintage was mild and even, producing fruit with bright aromatics, fine tannins, and excellent natural acidity.

Winemaking Process

Hand-picked fruit was fermented in small open vessels with gentle plunging to extract colour and flavour. A portion of whole bunches was included for lift and spice. The wine matured in French oak barrels (mostly seasoned) to enhance complexity while retaining freshness.

Deep crimson red. Aromas of blackberry, plum, violet and pepper spice. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, featuring juicy dark fruits, hints of savoury spice, silky tannins and a long, poised finish.
