De Bortoli, established in 1928, is a 5-star rated winery located in Bilbul, New South Wales. From humble beginnings of making small amounts of dry table wines, De Bortoli Wines has flourished over the years as one of the largest privately-owned wineries in Australia. The company has expanded under the direction of Deen De Bortoli and his wife Emeri, and is known for producing a wide range of excellent wines.

TASTING NOTES

De Bortoli Windy Peak Shiraz is a deep red coloured wine with a purple rim. The fragrant bouquet of this Heathcote wine features aromas of ripe dark fruit, plum, black pepper and spice. These plump dark fruit characters replicate on the layered and concentrated palate, where they combine with fine tannins to provide a fine finish. A great example of Heathcote Shiraz, this wine tastes best when paired with meatloaf or red meats.
