Founded by Vittorio De Bortoli in 1928, De Bortoli Wines is a family-owned business. It is presently managed by the third generation of the family. The company has three wineries located in Riverina, Hunter Valley and Yarra Valley. Grapes are sourced from five estate-owned vineyards?hree are located in the same regions as the wineries while the other two lie in Heathcote and King Valley. The brand philosophy is that the wines should reflect the characteristics of the land it belongs to.

TASTING NOTES

A blend of 91% Sauvignon Blanc and 9% Semillon grape varieties, this vegan-friendly wine underwent fermentation in vats and casks. Poured into a glass, it showcases a clear pale straw colour. The bouquet exudes intense aromas of gooseberry and grapefruit along with nettle and talc notes. These fresh fragrances make way for a light-bodied and textured palate offering subtle lime, guava and herb flavours. Complemented by gentle acidity, these elements eventually culminate in a soul-satisfying finish. Relish this versatile wine young with seafood, light salad, and fried or roasted chicken.
