Domaine Roux Père & Fils brings generations of Burgundy winemaking experience to its Côte de Nuits vineyards. Les Petits Vougeots is a Premier Cru climat in Vougeot, an appellation renowned for producing elegant and structured Pinot Noir. The wine combines the finesse associated with Burgundy with the depth and structure of the Côte de Nuits.

Vintage Conditions

The 2022 vintage delivered excellent ripeness and concentration across Burgundy. Warm growing conditions encouraged vibrant fruit expression while the best sites retained enough freshness to create wines with balance, structure and ageing potential.

Winemaking Techniques

Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the grapes are carefully selected and hand harvested before fermentation. The wine is then matured in oak for approximately 15 to 18 months, allowing the fruit, tannins and oak character to integrate while preserving the expression of the Vougeot terroir.

Appearance: Ruby red with youthful violet reflections

Aroma: Red berries, cherry and raspberry accompanied by violet, subtle spice and delicate woodland notes

Palate: Elegant yet structured, with bright red fruit, refined acidity and smooth, velvety tannins

Finish: Harmonious and persistent, with lingering red fruit, gentle spice and subtle earthy character
