Fruit for each of these wines is sourced from slow-ripening, cool-climate vineyards located in the Limestone Coast wine region.

TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby in colour, Elephant In The Room Merlot was crafted from 90% Merlot and 10% Shiraz. On the nose, the wine exhibits aromas of dark berry fruits. Both open and close fermented, this wine was partially matured in stainless steel tanks as well as French oak for nine months. It provided complexity to the wine, alongside red and black fruits flavours evident throughout the medium-bodied palate. Subtle leaf and milk chocolate notes take the wine further with a fine tannin structure and fresh acidity. Enjoy it with meaty Asian dishes.
