Fowles Wines is a family‑run estate in the Strathbogie Ranges of Victoria. The “Are You Game?” range celebrates local provenance and culinary adventure, producing wines that are intensely aromatic, textured and designed to pair seamlessly with food.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2023 Pinot Grigio is sourced from high‑altitude vineyards across the Strathbogie Ranges. Cool nights and granite soils help preserve natural acidity while developing precise, aromatic fruit. The final blend includes a splash of Riesling (8.7 %) for lift and complexity.

Winemaking Process

Grapes were fermented in stainless steel using cultured yeast to boost tropical aromatics. The wine remained on lees for three months to build mid‑palate texture. A touch of Riesling was added to enhance citrus blossom notes and extend the finish.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw with a hint of rose‑gold. The nose shows pear, peach, mandarin, orange zest and delicate spice. The palate is medium-bodied, offering stone fruit, orchard pear and citrus, with a crisp, mineral-edged finish.
