Fowles Wine is a family-run estate located in the cool-climate Strathbogie Ranges of Victoria, Australia. Their 'Farm To Table' range reflects a commitment to sustainable farming and winemaking practices, producing wines that embody the connection between the land and the table.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2021 Pinot Noir was harvested from the Strathbogie Ranges and King Valley between mid-March and April 2021. The cooler vintage provided outstanding conditions for Pinot Noir, allowing for gradual ripening and great flavour intensity in the fruit.

Winemaking Process

The fruit was fermented in stainless steel to intensify colour and preserve primary fruit flavours. Carefully selected cultured yeast was used to enhance spice, structure, and texture on the palate. The wine was matured with French oak for three months to develop sweet vanilla and spice notes in the final blend.

Tasting Notes

The wine presents a ruby red colour with aromas of strawberry, rhubarb, and red fruits, complemented by subtle vanilla bean and nutmeg spice. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with rich cherries and ripe strawberries, complemented by soft tannins and a touch of vanilla and sweet spice oak notes to finish.
