WINERY INFORMATION:

Geoff Merrill released the first label in 1983 with his name including a 1980 Cabernet and 1981 Semillon. With a view to establish his own operation, he purchased the beautiful but run-down Mount Hurtle Winery in 1985 and after restoring the property to its full potential, Geoff left to embark on his own venture in 1988. His signature style took his winemaking career to the international stage in 1993. Since then, Geoff continues to gain national and international recognition for his distinctive style of winemaking and zest for life.

TASTING NOTES:

A very light straw coloured wine with subtle green hues. The aroma of this wine is delicate and fragrant with fresh lemon, lime, lavender, rose petal and green apple. The palate showcases a vivid, zesty acid line right from the start to finish. The flavours of ripe tahitian lime come forward and warm into granny smith apple and pineapple. Serve this wine with coffin bay oysters, steamed scallops or garlic prawns.
