Vintage Conditions

The 2018 Barossa vintage produced fruit with excellent concentration and balance. Favourable conditions allowed the grapes to develop intense flavour while retaining enough natural freshness to support the wine's substantial structure and long finish.

Winemaking Techniques

Eye of Ra is produced from old-vine Shiraz grown in the Barossa Valley. The fruit is carefully selected and fermented to maximise its intense colour, flavour and natural tannin structure. The wine is matured in French oak, with carefully managed oak influence adding complexity without overshadowing the powerful Shiraz fruit.

Appearance: Deep, opaque crimson with purple hues

Aroma: Blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum with liquorice, dark chocolate, spice and subtle mocha
