An independently owned wine company, Grosset Wines was founded in 1981 by winemaker Jeffrey Grosset. The organically certified winery is located in Auburn, in the renowned Clare Valley wine region. All wines are crafted using handpicked fruit sourced from the estate’s own vineyards. Grosset Wines’ philosophy is to emphasize on the quality of the grapes and the vineyards.

TASTING NOTES

This bone dry wine was made using distinctly flavoured Riesling grapes obtained from the estate’s ACO certified organic vineyard. Poured into a glass, the drink features a medium straw colour. Its lively bouquet emits lavender aromas coupled with mineral notes and a hint of lime. These lime juice characters replicate on the generous palate, where they combine with the variety’s characteristic chalkiness and natural acidity to provide you a dry finish. This is a powerful wine with persistent length and a long term cellaring potential. Pair this intense white wine with Gouda cheese, eggplant preparations or cherry pie.
