Wine Description

WINERY INFORMATION

Emmett's Crossing Wines is a family owned and operated winery situated in the south-west corner of Western Australia. It is currently managed by renowned winemaker Peter Ganfield. Established in 1996, the winery produces varied domestic ranges of white and red wines such as Heart to Heart, to promote progressive viticulture approaches for producing premium quality wines.

TASTING NOTES

The magnificent Heart to Heart Cabernet Merlot features a dark crimson colour with purple hues throughout the wine. This vibrant red wine blend offers fresh aromas of raspberry, mulberry and blackberry fruits, with subtle spicy hints evident in the backdrop. The palate becomes juicy and textured with flavours of blackberries and red plums, which combine with fine tannins and vanilla oak hints to provide a long and persistent finale. Crafted to be relished upon release, this Cabernet Merlot tastes splendid with Barbecued Porterhouse Steak on a garlic mash, red meats, Spaghetti Bolognese, and pasta.
