The Julius Riesling is a flagship white named in honor of ancestor Julius Henschke, reflecting the estate’s dedication to crafting Rieslings of purity, finesse, and longevity from Eden Valley’s elevated, cool-climate vineyards.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
The 2025 vintage of Julius Riesling is sourced from high-altitude Eden Valley vineyards, situated between 400–500m above sea level. The season was mild with cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. These conditions resulted in fruit with pristine acidity, vibrant citrus intensity, and fine mineral expression, hallmarks of great Eden Valley Riesling.

Winemaking Process
Hand-harvested Riesling grapes were gently pressed and vinified with minimal intervention to preserve natural aromatics. Fermentation took place in stainless steel with controlled cool temperatures, ensuring retention of freshness and varietal purity. No oak influence was used, allowing the vineyard character to shine through. The wine was bottled early to capture brightness and vitality.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw with green hues. Aromas of lime blossom, citrus zest, and jasmine are accented by subtle mineral undertones. The palate is precise and pure, showing layers of lime, green apple, and grapefruit with slate-like minerality.
