A member of Australia's First Families of Wine, Howard Park was founded in 1986 by John Wade. Operating under Burch Family Wines, Howard Park is currently the proud owner of four distinct vineyards in both the Margaret River and Great Southern regions. Each of these vineyards is known for specific fruit varieties that are nurtured to their full potential.

TASTING NOTES:

Howard Park Scotsdale Shiraz was crafted using the best fruit parcels from low-yielding 1997 and 2000 plantings of the Lange vineyard based in Frankland River. It's a cool climate, elegant and powerful Shiraz showing an intense red colour with purple hues. The wine opens with aromas of dark and red fruits like dark cherry and damson plum. With a focus on these flavours, the palate reveals hints of black pepper, vanilla oak, dark chocolate and liquorice. Fine, mouth coating tannins finish the wine.
