WINERY INFORMATION

Jack Estate was established in 2011, with the purchase of the Mildara Blass winery located in Coonawarra. The winery sources its fruit from the  estate’s vineyard planted in 1962, Lake Cullulleraine vineyard in Victoria, and contract grape growers from Coonawarra and Wrattonbully. The winery is known for producing premium wines crafted with traditional winemaking techniques.

TASTING NOTES

This amazing Jack Estate Shiraz flaunts a deep ruby red colour with flecks of purple. A sniff of the wine reveals fragrances of brambleberries and mulberries, along with hints of cloves, curry spices and orange zest. The palate is filled with complex flavours of dark berries, raspberries, dark chocolate and star anise, balanced with subtle oak and velvety tannins. All these flavours come together to deliver an intense, yet elegant finish. Suggested food pairings for this Coonawarra Shiraz include a crown rib roast of beef, spring vegetables roasted with olive oil, or garlic and herb infused carrots.
