Josmeyer Riesling “Hengst” Sélection de Grains Nobles Grand Cru 2002 is a legendary dessert wine from the famed Hengst Grand Cru vineyard in Wintzenheim, Alsace. Crafted through painstaking hand-selection of individual botrytis-affected (noble rot) grapes, this biodynamically farmed Riesling combines extreme concentration with vibrant natural acidity, offering astounding aging capability.

In the glass, it displays a deep amber-gold color. The nose is extraordinarily complex, radiating intense aromas of candied lemon, kumquat, apricot marmalade, honeyed orange peel, and dried petrol, balanced by deep stony minerality. On the palate, it is opulent, rich, and viscous, flooding the mouth with layers of dried fruit, ginger spice, wild honey, and yellow plum.
