This Petit Verdot comes from the Riverland, a warm inland region well suited to late-ripening grapes like Petit Verdot. The 2016 vintage experienced hot and dry conditions, prompting a slightly early harvest but yielding ripe, full-bodied fruit.

Source & Winemaking

Grapes are estate-grown in Riverland vineyards owned by Kingston Estate. The wine is matured in a mix of American and French oak, giving structure and complexity while showcasing varietal character.

• Colour: Deep ruby-red.

• Aroma: Ripe blackberries, mulberries and dark plums with undertones of tobacco, dark chocolate and sweet oak spice.
