Michel Couvreur Candid is an uncoloured peated malt whisky made from Scottish malt spirit and matured in Burgundy using Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Bottled at 49% ABV, it combines rich sherry influence with an elegant peated style, creating a whisky that is both smoky and beautifully rounded. Unlike many heavily peated whiskies, Candid balances earthy smoke with layers of dried fruit, spice and creamy sweetness.

The nose opens with fruit cake, raisins, nutmeg and gentle peat before leading into a palate filled with sherry richness, roasted nuts, dark fruit and earthy smoke. Its distinctive maturation in Pedro Ximénez casks adds remarkable depth while maintaining freshness and balance throughout the finish.

Appearance: Deep golden amber.
