Moppity Vineyards is a family‑run estate established by Jason and Alecia Brown in 2002, located in the high‑altitude Hilltops region of Southern New South Wales. The Atrius series is named for the southern constellation and reflects fruit sourced from three cool‑climate zones: Canberra, Hilltops and Tumbarumba.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The 2022 vintage for this GSM blend delivered ripe concentrated flavours under warm daylight balanced by cooler nights. Fruit was drawn from elevated sites across the three regions to capture brightness, structure and regional complexity in the final wine.

Winemaking Process

Each varietal component was harvested and fermented separately in small batches, handled gently to preserve purity and freshness. Grenache and Mourvèdre contribute acidity and spice energy while oak influence from Shiraz is subtle and supportive. The wine is bottled under screwcap to maintain clarity and lift.

Tasting Notes

This blend shows rich blood plum and blue fruit aromas layered with cinnamon and Asian spice tones. There are savoury nutty nuances as well as dark olive characters.
