Product Description
WINERY INFORMATION:
Moppity Vineyards was first planted in 1973. In 2002, wine enthusiasts Jason and Alecia Brown began their search for an apt vineyard site for producing their own wines. Their search ended at Hilltops in Southern NSW. Two years later, they bought the property and started their company. After 11 years of focused viticulture practices, the estate emerged as a highly awarded wine company in the region.
TASTING NOTES:
The luscious grapes for this dazzling Lock & Key Cabernet Sauvignon were harvested, cold soaked, and then fermented for 9 days. Post maceration, the wine was aged in French barriques and hogsheads. This resulted in the creation of deep crimson hues and a purple rim. The fragrant nose emits mesmerising scents and rich flavours of bramble fruits, dark cocoa and aniseed. These magnificent characters are balanced by fine and supple tannins, culminating the wine in a vibrant and elegant finale. It tastes wonderful with grilled ahi tuna, Asian BBQ lamb ribs, and chocolate cake.
