WINERY INFORMATION

Established in 1973, Moppity Vineyards is a reputed wine estate located on Moppity Road in Young, New South Wales. The company produces a sophisticated range of well-balanced, handmade wines using carefully selected grapes sourced from their 170-acre vineyard. The estate is presently owned and managed by skilled winemaker Jason Brown, who acquired the property in 2004.

TASTING NOTES

This mouth-watering Lock & Key Pinot Noir features a ruby colour with a beautiful garnet rim. The fragrant nose is perfumed with strawberry, floral and red fruit aromas, with earthy tones evident in the backdrop. Luscious flavours of strawberries and red cherries combine with secondary notes of cured meats and game to offer an enticing palate. The finish is smooth and refined. This wonderful Pinot Noir tastes excellent with bacon stuffed mushrooms, tuxedo strawberries, and Gruyere cheese.
