WINERY INFROMATION:

Moppity Vineyards represents over 44 years of grape growing tradition, initiated in 1973. Owner and winemaker Jason Brown purchased the property in 2004 to fulfil his dream of creating a distinct range of elegantly styled, medium bodied wines. After 11 years of focussed viticultural practices on the original vineyard, the company has emerged as a highly awarded winery of the region.

TASTING NOTES:

The grapes used to create this stunning Riesling were handpicked and whole bunch pressed. The free run juice obtained was cold fermented, resulting in a light straw hued wine. A swirl of the glass reveals exotic fragrances of musk, citrus, lime and orange blossom. The intense palate is bursting with tangy lime and citrus flavours, supported by delicate floral and blossom notes. This beautiful Riesling ends in a dry and generous finale. This delicious Lock & Key Riesling tastes amazing with freshly shucked oysters, guacamole and Gouda cheese.
