Legendary winemaker Maurice O'Shea often used the term 'Paddock' when naming his wines and vineyards during his time at Mount Pleasant from the 1920s to the 1950s. Sourced from established old vine vineyards that O'Shea favoured, the Mount Pleasant Home Paddock Shiraz delivers a rich and powerfully flavoured interpretation of the classic Hunter Valley style.

The Hunter Valley region imparts a distinct footprint on Shiraz, resulting in elegant and succulent medium-bodied dry red wines. This Shiraz exemplifies the area’s unique terroir, offering a harmonious balance of flavour, structure, and depth.

Deep ruby red. Rich notes of dark fruits, subtle spice, and hints of chocolate. Full-bodied with layers of ripe plum, blackberry, and earthy undertones, complemented by velvety tannins and a lingering finish.
