Founded in 1972, Mountadam Vineyards is one of the pioneering estates of the Eden Valley, established by the legendary David Wynn. Today, the winery remains celebrated for its cool-climate wines that highlight elegance, purity, and the unique character of its high-altitude vineyards.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions
The 2025 vintage in Eden Valley offered a long, cool ripening season. The higher altitude vineyards provided crisp natural acidity and fresh aromatics, while warm, dry days ensured excellent fruit intensity—perfect conditions for crafting vibrant Pinot Gris.

Winemaking Process
Fruit was hand-picked in the early hours of the morning to preserve freshness. After gentle pressing, the juice was cool-fermented in stainless steel to retain pure fruit flavours, followed by short maturation on lees to enhance texture and palate weight.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw with hints of green. Aromas of pear, white nectarine, and citrus blossom are lifted by subtle spice. The palate is refreshing yet textured, with flavours of ripe pear, melon, and lemon zest, finishing crisp, clean, and mineral-driven.
