Murray Street Wines is located in Greenock in the Barossa Valley, with a purpose-built winery completed in 2006. Designed around open-air fermentation and a temperature-controlled barrel hall, the facility integrates concrete, oak, terracotta and sandstone vessels to support small-lot, site-driven winemaking.

Region & Vintage Conditions

This Shiraz is sourced from the Gomersal Estate vineyard, located on the southern end of the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley. The site sits on a hillside promontory with a slightly warmer sub-climate than Greenock, supporting full ripening. Soils consist of dark red clays and sandy clay loams over calcareous siltstone, contributing to structure and intensity.

Winemaking Techniques

The wine is produced from a block and barrel selection of the finest Shiraz parcels from the Gomersal vineyard, ensuring precision and consistency of style.
