Nannup Ridge Wines is located on the granite ridges of the Blackwood Valley in Western Australia. The estate was established by the Fitzgerald brothers and is known for its elevated vineyard site with granite loam soils and a northeasterly aspect, which combine with cooling evening breezes to produce wines of texture, regional definition and maturity. The label and its winemaking team have built a strong reputation for boutique quality and expressive varietals.

Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2017 vintage of this Cabernet Sauvignon benefitted from the vineyard’s favourable site conditions with warm days encouraging flavour development and cool nights preserving natural acidity and varietal character. The granite loam soils of the estate lend concentration and depth to the fruit, allowing this wine to show structure, intensity and ageing potential.

Winemaking Techniques

This Cabernet Sauvignon has been crafted with attention to both varietal expression and structural elegance. After harvest, the fruit was handled with careful extraction to preserve aromatics and finesse, then matured in selected oak barrels to integrate flavour, tannin and complexity without overwhelming the fruit.
