Winery Overview

Nomad’s Gardens is a family-run venture based in Eldorado in North East Victoria, established in 2017 by Ben and Ellie Schulz Dahlenburg. They specialise in single-vineyard, low-intervention wines made with wild yeasts and minimal additives. Their fruit is sourced from diverse sites across North East Victoria, including King Valley, Beechworth, Rutherglen and Glenrowan. 

Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2024 season brought moderate, even conditions that suited both Sangiovese and Grenache, producing bright, juicy fruit with clean acidity.

A field blend from the LJR site, where the varieties grow side-by-side and are picked together for natural integration and balance.

Winemaking

Co-fermented for seamless flavour. Gentle extraction produced light tannin and fresh red-fruit character, with minimal oak to keep the profile vibrant.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Bright crimson.
Aroma: Red cherry, raspberry, spice and hints of dried herbs.
Palate: Medium-bodied, juicy and fresh with silky tannins and vibrant fruit.
Finish: Clean, lifted and lightly savoury.
