WINERY INFORMATION:

Paracombe Wines is a family-owned business that was established in 1992 by Paul and Kathy Drogemuller. The vineyard and winery are located in Paracombe, a small town near the Adelaide Hills. With a crushing capacity of 2000 tonnes of fruit, the winery is known for its premium range of handcrafted wines. To ensure sustainable development, measures have been taken for efficient use of water and energy resources through solar energy and water recycling program.

TASTING NOTES:

This limited release Malbec from Adelaide Hills was matured in French oak barrels. A single vineyard wine, it flaunts a rich and deep colour. On the nose, it emanates plum and violet aromas. These fragrances make way for an intense palate revealing dark cherry flavours along with notes of earth and cinnamon spice. Subtle oak hints and fine tannins are followed by a lingering finish. Pair it with barbecued rare rib eye steak, tagliatelle with mushroom or beef.
