Vintage Information

The 2024 vintage in Tasmania began with a dry winter, followed by a warm spring that cooled slightly towards the end. This unique weather pattern led to one of the driest periods on record for southern Tasmania, with summer and autumn continuing in the same vein. As a result, the vines yielded less fruit, but the grapes that were harvested were incredibly concentrated, offering intense, layered flavours that are characteristic of this exceptional vintage.

Tasting Notes

The 2024 Parish Vineyard Tasmanian Riesling is pale yellow with a straw-like hue, offering aromas of delicate native daisy florals, lemon-lime butter, and orange rind. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with zesty, slatey acidity and a delightful complexity. Flavours of green apple, feijoa, dried lavender, grapefruit, and apricot kernel unfold beautifully, showcasing the wine's expressive and layered profile.
