Award-winning winemaker Drew Tuckwell heads the winemaking team at Printhie. Printhie is a family-owned producer of top quality wines from the cool-climate Orange region. The company is owned by the pioneering Swift family, comprising of Jim, Ruth and their sons - Ed and Dave. It was acquired by the Swifts in the year 1978. All the wines by the brand are produced using intensely coloured and flavourful fruit that Printhie has worked hard to produce since its inception.

TASTING NOTES:

This beautifully complex wine flaunts a deep red colour enhanced by purple hues. The drink offers fragrances and flavours of Cabernet fruit, namely blackcurrant, red berries and choc-mint, with a touch of leaf. The oak character is cedary, and shows toast and vanilla. The drink presents balance between fruit, oak and earthiness. Infused with tannins, the lengthy palate culminates in a gorgeous finish. Suggested food pairings for this rich red wine include Cheddar cheese, slow cooker beef brisket with BBQ sauce, and easy cheesy zucchini gratin served with tomato confit.
