WINERY INFORMATION:

Located in Queenstown, Central Otago, Rabbit Ranch winery was established by Mr McGregor when the area was flooded with rabbits. That's how the brand picked its name. Currently owned and run by his descendants - Warren and Betty McGregor, Rabbit Ranch vineyards predominate the Lowburn area of New Zealand's Cromwell Basin. Bounded by the Kawarau River, Lake Dunstan and the Pisa range, the basin has the largest concentration of grapevines in the territory.

TASTING NOTES:

Rabbit Ranch Pinot Gris is a soft & cuddly wine displaying a pale straw colour in a glass. The wine excites you with fragrances of sweet pear, apple and lemongrass on the nose. The palate has a mineral acid backbone which provides a great mouthfeel and an off-dry finish. A wine with a delicious structure and refreshing style, this Central Otago Pinot Gris is an amazing accompaniment to seafood.
