Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2021 vintage was sourced from estate-grown vineyards in Coonawarra, one of Australia's premier Cabernet Sauvignon regions. The area's famous terra rossa soils over limestone and cool maritime climate provide ideal conditions for slow, even ripening, producing Cabernet Sauvignon with concentrated fruit, structure and varietal definition.

Winemaking Techniques

Following fermentation, the wine was matured in French oak, allowing the fruit and oak characters to integrate while enhancing complexity and texture. This careful maturation preserves the varietal integrity of the Cabernet Sauvignon while contributing subtle spice and structure.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red.

Aroma: Lifted aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and cassis with notes of bay leaf, cedar, dark chocolate and subtle spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and richly textured, offering ripe blackcurrant and dark berry flavours supported by fine tannins and well-integrated French oak.

Finish: Long, seamless and dry, with lingering dark fruit and gentle spice.
