Rob Dolan Wines is a boutique label in the Yarra Valley, created by winemaker Rob Dolan in 2010. The winery focuses on sourcing premium Yarra fruit and using a “less is more” philosophy to craft wines that are fruit-driven, varietally expressive, and consistently good value. 

Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2019 vintage in the valley allowed grapes to hang longer on the vine, concentrating sugars and flavour, perfect for a late harvest style that balances sweetness and acidity.

Winemaking

Grapes are pressed gently, often with whole-bunch or skin contact before a cool fermentation. This preserves aromatic lift and varietal freshness while allowing natural sugars to carry through into a luscious dessert-style wine.

• Colour: Pale lemon

• Aroma: Honeysuckle, quince, lemon zest and soft floral notes.

• Palate: Sweet but balanced, marmalade, cumquat and orange blossom with gentle acidity.

• Luscious fruit sweetness and smoothness.

• Finish: Soft, lingering and slightly honeyed.
