Robert Stein Vineyard was established in 1976 when Robert ‘Bob’ Stein planted 75 acres of the original Stein property in Mudgee with Shiraz vines. TASTING NOTES

This marvellous Reserve Chardonnay from the Robert Stein labelis a vibrant and juicy wine displaying a bright gold hue. The fruit was carefully selected, natural fermented and later subjected to partial malolactic fermentation in 50% new French oak barriques. The resultant wine shows elements of roast nuts, ripe stonefruit, preserved lemon and un-popped popcorn kernels, combined with delicate wooly hints and sweet double cream. The well-structured and rounded palate features crystalline acidity and youthful oak notes leading to a clean and crisp finale. Pair this charming Chardonnay wine with pastas, risottos, fish pates or creamy vegetable soups to enjoy its taste to the fullest.
