Ross Hill Wines is a family-owned estate in Orange, New South Wales, run by the Robson family. The Family Series wines are named after grandchildren, “Harry” Pinot Noir is an expressive, approachable red made from high-altitude vineyards in Orange’s cool climate

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

Harry is grown on north-facing blocks at around 750–850 m elevation in Orange. The 2024 vintage featured warm daylight tempered by cool nights, preserving bright acidity and varietal clarity while allowing red fruit aromas to develop cleanly ([turn0search0]).

Winemaking Process

Harvested fruit is gently destemmed and fermented in small batches without oak intervention. The wine spends minimal time on lees before bottling under screwcap to maintain purity and freshness.

Tasting Notes

Bright and lifted, with aromatics of cherry blossom, rose petal, strawberry and cranberry. The palate is silky and medium-bodied, offering cranberry, loganberry and forest-floor notes, supported by fine-grained tannins and a lightly savoury finish.
