Winery Background

Ross Hill Wines is family-owned by the Robson family in the Orange region of New South Wales. The Family Series wines, each named after a family member, are designed to highlight varietal purity and the bright cool-climate character of the Orange plateau.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The Jessica Rosé 2022 is sourced from vineyards planted at approximately 750–850 m elevation in Orange. The cool season (warm days and crisp nights) preserved acidity while allowing red berries and floral aromatics to develop naturally.

Winemaking Process

Grapes were gently pressed to capture delicate colour. Fermentation took place in stainless steel, with minimal lees contact to retain freshness and clarity. The style remains dry, aromatic and texturally light.

Tasting Notes

Pale salmon with subtle copper hues and brilliant clarity. The nose shows wild strawberry, watermelon, white peach with a hint of spice and rose petal. On the palate the wine is light-bodied and crisp, offering flavours of red berries, pink grapefruit and nectarine balanced by a silky mouthfeel and dry finish.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with prosciutto and melon, chilli‑lime grilled prawns, goat’s cheese tarts or charcuterie and vegetable platters. Its acidity and fruit freshness make it ideal with light summery fare.

‘Jessica’ Rosé was made to showcase Orange-grown fruit in a dry and approachable style, clean, vibrant and varietally true. It reflects Ross Hill’s focus on freshness and clarity with no extra ornamentation.
