Sakurao Single Malt Japanese Whisky is crafted entirely at Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima, where traditional craftsmanship meets the unique coastal climate of the Seto Inland Sea. Matured in a carefully selected combination of bourbon, sherry, Mizunara oak and new American oak casks, this elegant single malt develops impressive depth while maintaining the balance and finesse for which Japanese whisky is renowned.

Aromas of citrus, orchard fruit, vanilla and gentle oak open into a smooth palate of ripe apple, honey, dried fruit and subtle spice. The combination of cask types creates excellent complexity, leading to a refined finish with delicate oak and lingering sweetness.

Appearance: Bright golden amber.

Recipe - Japanese Highball

Ingredients

• 45ml Sakurao Single Malt

• 120ml chilled soda water

• Ice

• Lemon twist

Method

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add the whisky, gently pour over the soda water and stir once or twice. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve immediately.
