Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2020 vintage is crafted from estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon in Coonawarra, a region famed for its distinctive terra rossa soils over limestone. The cool maritime climate and long ripening season encouraged excellent flavour development, resulting in a wine with concentrated dark fruit, refined tannins and classic regional character.

Winemaking Techniques

The wine was fermented under controlled conditions before maturation in oak, allowing the vibrant fruit and subtle barrel influence to integrate harmoniously. This approach enhances texture and complexity while preserving the purity and elegance of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red with youthful crimson hues.

Aroma: Intense aromas of blackcurrant, black plum and cassis are complemented by dried herbs, cedar, spice and subtle toasty oak.

Palate: Rich and harmonious, displaying flavours of blackberry, cherry and ripe dark fruits supported by silky tannins, balanced acidity and well-integrated oak.

Finish: Long, smooth and persistent, with lingering dark fruit, gentle spice and fine tannins.
