Scotchmans Hill is a respected cool-climate winery situated on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. Established in 1982, the estate cultivates premium vineyards influenced by maritime breezes and well-drained volcanic soils. Their winemaking approach balances tradition and modernity, with a focus on elegant, expressive styles of Shiraz, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2023 season was mild across much of Victoria, providing long ripening and excellent tannin development. These conditions suited Shiraz particularly well, producing fruit with spice, freshness and fine structure.

Winemaking
