Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2021 vintage was sourced from premium vineyards in Padthaway, a renowned sub-region of the Limestone Coast celebrated for producing richly flavoured yet balanced Shiraz. A dry, extended growing season allowed the fruit to ripen evenly, delivering excellent concentration, vibrant fruit character and refined structure.

Winemaking Techniques

After fermentation, the wine completed its maturation in barrel for 18 months before the final blend was selected from individual barrels. This careful approach adds complexity, texture and depth while preserving the purity of the fruit.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep purple with vibrant ruby hues.

Aroma: Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and ripe plum are layered with olive, bay leaf, dark chocolate and subtle spice.

Palate: Rich and velvety, offering flavours of blackberries, red berries and pepper spice, supported by fine tannins and a well-rounded, textured palate.

Finish: Long and smooth with lingering dark fruit, spice and savoury notes.
