Winery Overview

Tellurian is a family-owned, certified organic vineyard and winery located in the Heathcote region of Victoria. The team works with small parcels of their own estate vines planted on red Cambrian soils, focusing on wines that clearly reflect the land and the variety.

Region & Vintage Conditions

The 2024 vintage in Heathcote featured favourable ripening conditions of warm days and cool nights, combined with low yields. This allowed the Shiraz grapes to develop depth of flavour, natural structure and expressive character that is true to the region.

Grapes are drawn from well-managed parcels within the estate where vine training, exposure and soil make a difference. Low-yielding vines concentrate flavour and help produce vibrant, expressive fruit.

Winemaking

The Shiraz was carefully handled to preserve fresh, bright fruit character and elegant structure. Fermentation and maturation were managed to deliver a medium to full-bodied style with smooth tannins and a strong varietal identity.
