Deep crimson with a black core. Blackberry, spiced plums, lavender oil, cracked pepper and cured meat. Saturated to the core, Ares delivers a wall of flavour across the palate with notes of blackberry, baking spices, lavender oil, scorched earth, coal dust, and high cocoa, dark chocolate emerging at every turn. Depth and nuance in a large framework, thick and bold tannins screech across the mid-palate and pull the wine through to an incredibly long finish laced with detail, created by notes of black cracked pepper, expresso shot, and coal dust.
