This state-of-the-art West Cape Howe winery is located in the Mount Barker region of Western Australia. Voted the best winery in the region, West Cape Howe sources its premier fruit from Langton Vineyard. The vineyard features some of the most mature vines of the Great Southern, namely - Riesling Block 6, Cabernet Sauvignon Block 1, and Shiraz Block 5. Following sustainable and organic vineyard practices, the fruit harvested from this vineyard forms the backbone of the brand's award-winning wines, rich in structure and flavour.

TASTING NOTES

West Cape Howe Regional Hannah's Hill Cabernet Malbec is an inky and dense crimson coloured wine with a purple red hue. The wine opens with intense aromas of boysenberry and blackcurrant, lifted by violets and dry, savoury spice. With grapes sourced from Frankland River and Mount Barker, this Cabernet Merlot blend features a great flavour and texture profile on the palate. The dark berry flavours are balanced by drying tannins and well-integrated oak, giving this wine great length. A flavoursome wine with depth of fruit and a spicy finish, the wine can be cellared for 6 years, but tastes better when served young. Pair it with smoky cured beef, chilli con carne, or Spaghetti Bolognaise.
